The Seven Elements of Art
Children experiment with lines, shapes, color, and other elements of art in simple, hands-on ways that make creative ideas easier to understand.
Children explore art concepts through hands-on projects that are intentionally fun, creative, and messy.
Art for Creative Kids gives children time to experiment with the seven elements of art in a preschool-friendly setting. Through hands-on work with lines, shapes, color, and other art concepts, children begin connecting creative choices with what they see and make. The class is designed for curious young learners who benefit from trying materials, noticing details, and enjoying the process.
Each class connects real art concepts with active, age-appropriate making. Children use varied materials, follow curriculum-connected activities, and build confidence through creative exploration.

Projects may include oil pastels, watercolor, pencils, and markers, giving children experience with different textures, tools, and effects.

Activities follow the preschool curriculum, helping art time feel connected to what children are already learning and exploring.

This is a fun and messy class where children can try ideas, make choices, and enjoy creating without worrying about perfection.
Art for Creative Kids runs as a one-hour block that includes both art time and lunch. This clear format helps children enjoy a focused creative activity and a familiar lunch routine in the same session.
